This section is what we call our "MBLab e-Research Workplace".

It is our main result, from the IT perspective, and it collects a number of tools and specialized solutions (i.e. web applications devoted to approach specific industrial issues and tasks) useful to support in-silico studies in Biodiversity and Bioinformatics domains.

According to our vision an e-Research Workplace is a systematic and specialized IT environment that can support a community of researchers to solve their scientific challenges. It is a generic problem solver for a class of problems but also, in pragmatic terms, a collection of data and data sources, data aggregation and federation, search, analysis tools and workflow and mash-up environments.

The MBLab e-Research Workplace includes open-source tools, some original components built upon open source components as well as components explicitly developed within the MBLab activities. Currently, some tools of our environment are publicly accessible, for others access restrictions to authorized users only are applied.
